Pathway 17A: Body fluid assessment
Use this pathway if assessment of any other (non CSF) body fluid is required. Please select the required tests. Recommend sending a contemporaneous sample to your cytology department for analysis (not available on HODS)
The following tests will be performed:
- Morphological opinion of cytospin or blood film prepared from body fluid
- Marker studies body fluid (flow immunophenotype) (Optional)
- Molecular analysis of body fluid (Optional)
